The Passion StoryA story of joy, life, hope and salvation that has penetrated time and space reaching to the far ends of the earth, the "Passion Story" is Abilene's retelling of the greatest story ever told. Every other year the people of Abilene bring the story of Christ' death, burial and resurrection to the Abilene stage. Admission to the Passion Story is free. Tickets may be request from the church office after their release to the public. Release date: TBA. The Singing Christmas TreeGod has used the Tree to touch the lives of thousands that attend the production each year and countless others through the television broadcast each Christmas. The Sanctuary Choir of over one hundred voices accompanied by a full orchestra and a cast and support crew of 150 people took part in presenting this year's stirring presentation. Admission to the production of the Tree will be free upon request of the church office. The public release date of tickets will be announced in the fall. Patriotic CelebrationEvery other year, Abilene is proud to celebrate God and country and salute the men and women who have and are serving in the Armed forces of this great nation. Officials from our federal, state and local governments as well as our communities' "heroes" come together along with our church body to make Abilene's "PATRIOTIC EXTRAVAGANZA" one that any red-blooded American would not want to miss.
